نَهَستْ نقطهی تلاقی تاریخ و تخیّل است. کوششی برای شرکت در جامعهی ناممکن آینده به مدد تغییر دادنِ گذشته، به مدد لق کردن تکیهگاه کلمات. نهست این استراتژی معاصر کردن را در “فاسد” کردن امر معاصر مییابد: در ناساز بودن، در میل به نابهنگامی.
نهست پروژهی بازگرداندن نامها و مفاهیم است به معادلهای فراموششدهشان. جستجوی مسئولیت ما در قبال کلمات و یافتن راهی برای بازپسگیری واژههای مصادرهشده: ستیز علیه صنعت حافظهی رسمی.

Inexistence is the meeting place of history and imagination—that liminal threshold where what-has-been encounters what-might-yet-be. It is an attempt to dwell within tomorrow’s impossible community by transfiguring yesterday, by unfastening the anchorages of language, by making words tremble upon their very pedestals.
